An experiential and nourishing day designed to help you cultivate self-compassion, the ability to be loving and kind to yourself, just as you would be with a dear friend, whenever you are suffering or struggling in life.
You can search the whole world for someone more worthy of your love than yourself and you will not find anyone. He or she who truly loves themselves will never harm another.
Are you your own toughest critic? Do you talk to yourself in ways that you would never consider speaking to others, especially when you are suffering? Self-compassion is the ability to be loving and kind to ourselves, just as we would be with a dear friend, when we are struggling.
This experiential and nourishing day is designed to help you cultivate compassion for yourself using meditation, discussion, written exercises and a practice that you can immediately apply in challenging everyday moments. We will also include gentle movement, breathwork and a nourishing restorative yoga class suitable for all levels.
You will leave equipped with practical tools for treating yourself in a kind, compassionate way whenever you suffer, so enhancing your capacity for courage, emotional well-being and the ability to be more open and caring towards others.
